About
I’m Lisa Knighton, the CEO and Founder of AtHomeBeFIT, a hybrid boutique exercise studio.
As the designer of transformative fitness programs for women in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area and Live-Streaming Nationwide, it’s my experience that with dedicated and deep attention to good quality exercise, any woman will improve her athletic performance, enhance her vitality, and achieve a higher quality of life and ease of daily function.
I believe a healthy, physically fit body is within any woman’s reach, regardless of current health. And I most decidedly know women can be fit at any age.
I’m an expert at developing relationships with my clients and I have a keen sense of listening. I value these trusting relationships and create partnerships with each client as she starts off on the journey through the liminal space that’s often required to become more physically fit. I’m eager to be your guide along the way, and I welcome you to the community we’re nourishing online.
Research suggests that any woman reaching her 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s has personal authority of her health and fitness, and through well-designed, goals-oriented, and science-driven programs she can turn her health into an asset, and thereby, turn society on its head. In other words, through regular, challenging exercise and thoughtful movement women age with greater vitality.
Therefore, I propose that with a high level of weekly exercise we ourselves change the way we age, and, more profoundly, we change our own views on aging, and in turn change the culture. This is subversive, after all, and in the grandest of ways, and I delight in the idea of our moving our bodies as a way to change the world.
My 1:1 sessions are rigorous, and life-style altering. My small class offerings are robust, well-structured, and evidence-based.
