A little about me and my work...
Hi, I'm Lisa Knighton!
I aim to disrupt the way we age. Call me a Biohacker! After all, Structural Integration and strength training are simply biohacks.
As a Gen Xer, I believe the human body wants to be fed well, moved well, and rested well.
With a 12-Series of Structural Integration sessions to enhance your breath, posture and fascial health, and an on-going and evolving movement and exercise training program, greater health and longevity are yours.
I know you want to feel better. It’s possible, and achievable. I’ve helped children, women, and men reach their goals: greater strength, better posture, improved sleep, ease of mobility.
What I’m Doing NOW!
As a Board-Certified Structural Integration Practitioner (BCSI; ATSI) and a certified Personal Trainer (ACE), my work with you…
- Improves your fascial health and athleticism
- Enhances your movement power and strength
- Boosts your posture and mobility
In my studio, I always make a safe place for my clients to express through movement whatever may be happening in the soft tissues. I’m eager to learn from you and help you achieve your movement potential.
What are YOU Reading?
I’m a voracious reader, always with a book or two tucked in my satchel. When I’m not studying anatomy or creating exercise plans, I enjoy writing, traveling and hiking.
The best books I’ve read in the last few months are:
- A Hymn to Life, by Gisele Pelicot
- Wild, by Cheryl Strayed
- The Correspondent, by Virginia Evans
- all the novels by Joyce Maynard, especially The Bird Hotel
Where have YOU traveled to lately?
One year ago, I hiked in the Andes and up Cotopaxi in Ecuador. I also traveled to Galapagos Islands and stayed in a small house on stilts in a mangrove forest. Yes, the blue footed boobies are amazing! This year I’m going to Portugal, Spain, and Morocco. There’s a retreat center in the mountains of Portugal…I’ll let you know if it’s a great place to host a bodywork and movement get-away.

Lisa has been a life changer for me! I have a desk job, and have not kept up on my fitness. Every time I started to work out, I would be in such pain that I would quit right away.
Lisa has helped me work on specific muscle groups to improve … More my balance, strength and flexibility in order to move better without pain. She is a master at analyzing your movement and showing you how to correct it!
Now I feel like I can keep improving my fitness level because of Lisa's expertise. I highly recommend Lisa and her body work program! -

I’ve been working with Lisa for more than 2 years and recently started her Structural Integration (Rolfing) 12 Series. Her attention to detail, knowledge, and skill are phenomenal! If you are looking for a true professional Fitness Trainer, … More or Certified Structural Integration that will focus on your needs, I highly recommend Lisa. She cares about your results. -

At 73, I have had several good trainers, but Lisa is different. I have been working with her for about a year. During our time together, we have achieved all of the goals (better balance & posture, limberness...is that a word?...weight … More loss & pain relief) that I set with her. She is flexible & very easy to work with and really cares about her clients' wellness. She has provided hands on instruction for reducing certain pain issues for me to use on my own. Her practice includes many different methodologies, including massage, if it's needed, during the session. She also encourages other physical activities outside of her practice & follows up with how these activities affect her client & how better to utilize them. I highly recommend Lisa.
